some pictures to share

A Christmas Carol

So on Thursday we went to see a musical/play called a Christmas Carol. The story of scrooge. The truth is, I didn't wanna go see it. Hanna, the pastor's daughter kept on asking me for like a week if we wanted to go. So I finally said yes. It was in english performed by English/British people. The cast was of 5 people. We didn't get very good seats cuz we didn't reserve them earlier, but the play in itself was awesome. There were no mic's just the 5 of them playing all the parts. They did an amazing job & ofcourse they could sing. It was the pastor's & their 2 kids, Steve & I. We got a babysitter (a really good babysitter). She came abt 3:30 & then Steve & I left cuz it started at 4pm. Got there abit late b/c it was in another city but not too late.

The play was 2 hrs long w/ an intermission. The cool thing abt it was that you had to ck your coats in. They gave u a card w/a # on it, & then u showed that card at the end & u got your coats back. That was cool. Afterwards we decided to go out, all of us to eat since we were starving. So we went to this Italian restaurant. Supposedely is one of the best in the city of Wels. It was. except for the salad. That was ok. But we had lots of fun. Glad we had a baby sitter who knew what she was doing. She's a keeper!! Ofcourse afterwards I had a massive headache b/c there are no non smoking restaurants so everybody smokes. I heard this is going to change. I hope it's soon.

Then on Friday morning Judy (pastor's wife) she picked me up @ 8:30am to go to the city of "roarbach" abt 1hr away to have breakfast w/ some people from the church that live up there. A church is going to be started up there & some things needed to be talked abt. Then we got back abt 2:30pm & @ 6pm we had ti be at the church for the Bible School Christmas Banquet. That was nice. Saturday I stayed home w/the kiddos, ALL DAY. whew! By 5pm I was sooo exhausted. Quite a busy weekend. then today church. Andre & I watched "The Polar Express" for the 2nd time. He likes it & watches the whole thing w/o getting up. pretty cool. The baby was watching it too...well some parts, she played w/ toys really. We ate Cheetos that we got from the comisary in Germany. That's right there are no American chips here. But that's ok. I forgot how cheezy they were & messy. hehe! But Andre loved them.

Steve just got home from the evening srvce & I'm ready to lay on the couch & watch another episode of Seinfeld. "Theese Pretzel's are making me thirsty" it's a line from one of his episodes & u know..they have t-shirts w/that line on it. There's aso t-shirts that say "Hello Newman". Steve found them on line. Funny the things that he looks for. Ok well I better go now. It's 9:00pm on the dot. See you guys later!!

My weekend! or may I say, what a weekend!

Friday Steve took Audrey back to the doctor b/c she was coghing really bad again & had all this mucus junk! UUUGH! So she was on antibioticcs & a decongestant. 2 days after the antibiotics were done she gets the same thing again. Well the doc said she has very narrow bronchial passages, like bronchitis & asthma but is not asthma. it's this junk collecting in the back of her lungs. And she ca't breathe she was back to the wheezing. I took authority over this. I am so done having my kid sick! So he said after 10 days to take her back & they will put her on a breathing treatment. So she's back on meds & to a successful recovery in Jesus Name!!!!

That evening we had a Ladies Christmas Banquet in a town called "Roarbach" an hr away. I must say it was pretty "cold" up there since it was up in the mountain. The dinner was in a hotel that this couple from the church has. There was about 40 something ladies. We had fun. We had 3 dishes to choose from. I chose the chicken as did many others & it was sooooo salty. OMG you couldn't even eat that. Although the other dishes I hard were pretty good.

Saturday I was extremely tired cuz we got home @ 1:30 & then Audrey woke up 1x in the middle of the night. Then @ 6:15. What the heck!!! Then well she wasn't feeling well all day. But I managed to do all the laundry & clean since on Sunday after church we were going my MIL"S blah!

I enjoy going to Canton, it's really pretty down there, it's just that my MIL can't handle children & stresses about every little move they make. I felt like smacking her & shaking her & telling her to stop "shitting bricks" excuse me but I had enough for 1 day. Bob is cool & Lindi well she's soo controlled by my MIL that she just sits there like a person in a nutshell & can't get out. But she's cool. She expect Andre to act like an adult. His 2 lady!!! & of course his going to be curious abt touching stuff. That is why we are his parents & teach him & tell him NOT to touch specially Omas' pretty's well is mostly crap what she has. Any way, Andre touched a little packet of cleenex as I told him not to touch she slaps him in the hand & yells to him to touch anythng in this room!!. Those were her exact word.s I was pissed, FURIOUS & almost blurted out something but I knew I needed to control my self b/c it was not going to be nice.

I told Steve he better step up & defend his family next time & tell her to relax & that we are taking care of getting on to our children. Other wise I will tell her not to ever touch my children plus some more. I didn't talk the rest of the evning or nxt day. I just let her rattle her mouth & made sure that me & the kids were out of her sight & way. Soo boring. So instead of Staying till Tuesday we left Monday evening! Thank God!! Besides it was freaking cold in the rooms where we slept which were the bed & brkfst rooms in the second floor. The pipes had frozen 2 wks ago &b the heating system didn't work so we had heaters. You needed layers to sleep. Mind you it was in the 20's & the house is made out of brick..that's it! It hurt just to sit in the toilet b/c it was soo cold.

So this was my weekend! rrrrrr.
:) happy dance that we're back!!! It was nice reading all of your blogs & ckg my emails again! I hope u guys read this!

Keep this on the Fridge

Did You Know That? Drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately -- without the unpleasant side effects caused by traditional "pain relievers."

Did you know that Colgate toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns.

Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled with mysterious chemicals, try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.

Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 Tablespoon of horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil, for instant relief for aching muscles.

Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer . Just dissolve two tablets in a glass of water and drink it at the onset of the symptoms. Alka-Seltzer begins eliminating urinary tract infections almost instantly -- even though the product was never been advertised for this use. (Note: Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine is not the same..and contains aspirin, which can cause stomach bleeding if you have ulcers.)

Honey remedy for skin blemishes... Cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a Band-Aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight.

Listerine therapy for toenail fungus... Get rid of unsightly toenail fungus by soaking your toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toenails looking healthy again.

Easy eyeglass protection... To prevent the screws in eyeglasses from loosening, apply a small drop of Maybelline Crystal Clear nail polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them.

Coca-Cola cure for rust... Forget those expensive rust removers . Just saturate an abrasive sponge with Coca Cola and scrub the rust stain. The phosphoric acid in the coke is what gets the job done.

Cleaning liquid that doubles as bug killer... If menacing bees, wasps, hornets, or yellow jackets get in your home and you can't find the insecticide, try a spray of Formula 409. Insects drop to the ground instantly.

Smart splinter remover...just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.

Hunt's tomato paste boil cure....cover the boil with Hunt's tomato paste as a compress. The acids from the tomatoes soothe the pain and bring the boil to a head.

Balm for broken blisters ...To disinfect a broken blister, dab on a few drops of Listerine... a powerful antiseptic.

Heinz vinegar to heal bruises... Soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it to the bruise for 1 hour. The vinegar reduces the blueness and speeds up the healing process.

Kills fleas instantly. Dawn dish washing liquid does the trick. Add a few drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the animal thoroughly. Rinse well to avoid skin irritations. Goodbye fleas.

Rainy day cure for dog odor... Next time your dog comes in from the rain, simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly making your dog smell springtime fresh.

Eliminate ear mites... All it takes is a few drops of Wesson corn oil in your cat's ear. Massage it in, then clean with a cotton ball. Repeat daily for 3 days. The oil soothes the cat's skin, smothers the mites, and accelerates healing.

Quaker Oats for fast pain relief....It's not for breakfast anymore! Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for soothing relief from arthritis pain.

No date tonight

Or is it mate your date? haha! Well today is supposed to be our date night but we will be staying home since the familia is not well today. I caught the virus yesterday, so I started with the runs then Steve caught the virus it seems, again. Not puking only the runs. ALL NIGHT LONG & all day today. I'm exhausted. I'm fine now. Well this is not an exciting topic, but I'm sickn tired of being home. for 3 days. I had to get out of the house yesterday, so we went to buy formula. How exciting. But then it began. So we came home right away.

I was looking forward in getting out this evening but it's not going to happen. So maybe if Steve has enough energy, he can go & pick out a movie or movies. I still don't know where there is a video store. I saw one in downtown Wels, but I know there has to be one close here.

So this morning it has been raining, so I baked some "DOUBLE CHOCOLATE OAT COOKIES". Thank God I had enough ingredients. They came out soooo yummy & very easy to make. So here is the recipe for you guys that want it or gor you that wantt to read my blog. hint hint.

Whew!!

So last weekend was a blur. It was busy but fun. I did good on the lady's fellowship. So they told me. Everybody said they liked what I shared. Some said it ministered to them. So that was good to hear.
Saturday Iw as running crazy like a chicken with no head. But the babyshower turned out a success. Babyshowers are not a common thing here in Europe so everybody that cam had lots of fun & stayed late too. It was a good way of getting to know more people. This is something that the church will start doing for all the first time moms. That;s cool. Yeh church pays for the food & we host it or whomever has space in their home or wants to do it. hehe! So that's cool.

Well Saturday night when Steve came home Audrey started throwing up. Well the first time right before he got int he car. & 2 more times in the middle of the night. UUUUUGGGHHH!! What is this. So ofcourse we changed sheets, clothes etc. The morning came she was as happy as coud be. Did not eat much but she did. Then she had the runniest poop that could run up her back. So I gave her a bath, then we went to church. I thought she was over this. So then Steve starts with the runs right before we get to church. & During church. But it got better. After church Audrey threw up again. She did however drank all her bottle. hmmm.

Yip that was the start of this DANG virus. So Steve went to bed as soon as we got home. 1 hr later the hurling begun. GREAT!!! BUt Audrey din't any more. She did not take any solids yesterday but did drink her milk. Then later in the afternoon she had a runny diaper again. 2x's. Great!! But she was happy all day until the evening. Good thing it was getting closer to bed time. Then a 5:30 am she wakes up crying. But gladly, she went back to sleep til 8am. She woke up sooo hungry. She ate her breakfast, no dairies drank her bottle & 2 hrs later she hurled again..all over the rug in the kitchen floor. So I clean her up change her clothes, still doing laundry. Then Andre starts with the runs. UUUUGGGHH!!! I can take it any more. My house smells like crap!!! literally. Then Audrey had a HUGE I mean HUGE runny diaper. Went through all her back, onesie, shirt, jeans & sox. Good thing Steve was here during his lunch to give her a bath. Man I am exhausted & I have a headache, for 2 days now. I need a break.

My house is a wreck, it seems like I'm never going to finish doing laundry & then there's my favorite part..putting the DANG clothes away!! I need a house keeper for a day...hmmm well more like my mom. I hope this is over soon. This DUMB virus has to go in Jesus Name!!!

Ok so there you have it. I guess I better go clean my kitchen now.

Poop snow & the rest of my week

Good morning to you Austrian residents. We greet you with poop snow. Yip it's dfef. winter I guess. The temp is gowing down gradually & quite rapidly this week here. It really has been nice. Maybe it will warm up & back to fall weather. Or not. U know once it snows in the mountains it stays cold. Brrrrrrr! Is all I have to say & hope that my winter clothes arive this week!!!

Well today I have to major grocery shop. That means I have to go to 3-4 stores betwen 4pm- 7:30pm. before they close. Then we might go tot Metro. Metro is like a "Sams". I sill havent gone. Hanna is going to watch the kids tonight & spend the night since she doesn't have school tomorrow. So maybe instead of a date we might just go to Metro. We did wanted to carve pumkins as well. We'll see how that goes today. Oh how I wish Steve was off today. Yesterday was a national holiday so everybody's off & everything is closed. UGH! Bummer. I could of done my grocery shopping yesterday. But oh well. How I miss Wal-Mart. hehe!!

I have major cleanig to do. I sort of did some cleaning yesterday. But I ahve to clean my ceilings & clean out all spider webs. Since tomorrow night I will be speaking at this lady's fellowship & Sat we are having a babyshower here in my flat. I don't want to be rushed so I want to do all my shopping today. I might have to get the gift tomorrow. Well that's pretty much all for right now. I really need to take a shower, dang it!! I have to wait til Steve comes home for lunch. AAAAUUUGHH! Ok well smell you later!!

A great day!

Ok. so I will not write the rest of what happened last week b/c it's Tuesday already & it sure was a busy but fun week. I will however talk about my last 2 days.

Yesterday was Steve's day off, so we decided to go for a drive. We went to Lienz a city about 20 min away. That is where IKEA is. So we decided to got to IKEA & sit in the food court to feeed Audrey since it was noon already & had Andre play in the play area. It's actually a really cool play area for the kids. They have a slide a wood track with wood trains & trucks, stuffed animals etc. We have become memebers of IKEA, does not cost anything & once you sign up, you get this card in the mail & you can go anytime during the week & you get free cup of coffee. So that's what we did. They have good inexpensive food & pastries. I love it! b/c u the kids can play & you can drink your coffe.

So now..Andre asks for Judy everyday. This is the pastor's wife. He tells me everyday "go see Judy?" & runs to get his shoes. It's so funny. So yesterday we told him we would call her so he could say hi & we did. She is really nice & loves children & my kids so that's a blessing. Wait..this phonecall turned into a bigger BLESSING! She asked me to bring Andre over & to leave the carseat. So I assured her this is not why we called but if it was not a problem with her he would love it. They live in the country & right up the street there are sheep & chickens, so we take hime to see them almost everytime we go over. She takes him outside & plays with him. That's just soo awesome & so God!

Ok, back to my story. We get there & talked for a little bit. Peter Robertson was there. The guy from Australia. He has been traveling around AT, but is staying with the Lambert's. Totally cool funny guy. So it turned out that Steve ended up taking Peter to the city so Judy wouldn't have too. I stayed with Judy & we just talked the whole day & laughed! Then Judy asked me if I wanted to leave the kids there & me & Steve go out, instead of Thursday. I said sure, however I did not have enough diapers for the rest of the day. Long story short. Steve came back w/o Peter went back to get diapers & then to pick up Peter. Then she said to just leave the kids overnight so we wouldn't have to wake them up. OMG!!! I can sl eep in! Yessss! Pastor Fred was in a meeting all day & wanted to just hangout with everybody. So we ended up staying & eating dinner there talked & laughed..it's so funny when you have a guest speaker & pastor together. They have the funniest stories. so we laughed all night, then watched Ocean's 12. Then it was past midnight. OMG!! I can't belive we stayed that late. But it was a great time of fllowship. We wwnt home w/o the kids. Came back in the morning to pick them up. Stayed for 2 more hrs. Funny how there's soo much to talk about. Then we came home.

1hr later Hanna call me, the daughter & asked me if I wanted to go to the mall with them since she's looking for jeans. She didn't want her mom to help her pick them out, you know teenagers. Funny. So I said sure. Then she text me several times & said why don't you all come so Peter wont be alone. lol. So that's probably the catch. So all did. The boys went to this other mall across the street & we went to look at boots. Cool, ends up Judy bought me a pair of boots that were on sale. Totally not expected. They are not real leather but they are nice. PRAISE GOD!!!! I really wanted a pair & was going to get some but I had to wait a little bit longer specially since you have to look around for the right kind. But this was the coolest! She said she wantd to get them for me for my b-day! My b-day was over 2 mo ago. I assured her she did not need to do this & she said she wanted to get them for her friend. (me) What a blessing to know that we can get along with the pastor's & hook up with their vision. ok thanks for reading this book! hehe!

Busy, busy, busy

Lateley, I have been pretty busy. Well, yes & no. We'ved had A guest speaker come from Australia. He mainly focuses & ministers in praise & worship. He's cool. Well that was last weekend. My busy week started like this. Last Thursday, for the first time in maybe half a year Steve & I went out on a date. Hanna which is the pastor's daughter watched the kids. Well, basically put them to bed. we had a really nice time. We went to an Italian restauratn in downtown Wels. I had a Calzone, oh my, this was the biggest, humongous, gigantic, calzone I have ever seen. It was so funny. It was as big as the largest pizza you can buy folded in half. MMMMMMMM...yummy. Better than Zio's. Yip. there you go I said it. I love Zio's but this was better than the calzone at Zio's. it's a serving for 3 people. So here is a pic of it.

Friday, we have Bible School. I was helping out with the children, but there weren't that many so I went home. I think that was last Friday. hehe! Then on Saturday, this girl from our church came over her mane is Petra. She is pregnant, due in like 2 wks. Her husband is in bible school, so she gets bored, just like I do. So she came over, about almost noon. She brought some yummy pastries. We had a good time. It was nice to get to know somebody else from church. Now I have to say, nobody has better pastries than here in Europe. Then, later that afternoon Petra & Inwere going to go for a walk with this other girl named Anna, but the kids were still taking a nap & I didn't have the car seats. Steve was at the church teachig in BS. Then my phone was out of minutes. I could recieve calls but could not make calls I didn't know cuz i didn't understand what the the message was saying in German.haha! I thought the phone was dropping my calls. Kinda funny huh! So I had Petra listen to it & that's how I found out. Petra had to leave to pick up her husband & I could not go b/c of this, Anna called me. She said she would pick me up. Somehow in between me telling Anna to call Steve & have him to call me it all worked out to where I had not my carseats but somebody elses & called Petra to tell her that I was able to go after all. It was good that I got to this b/c I got to know Anna.

After going to Anna's house, btw we didn't walk but Andre & her son did play & had a great time. We came back to the house. I asked Petra & Andy if they wanted to come over for dinner since they live 45min away. It worked out really good b/c that night Steve was going to run sound for Josh's band (Pastor's son) but he didn't have too after all. YESSS! SO this other couple came over & we had a really good time of fellowship.

Sunday was Church. After church, we got invited to go out to eat w/ this fam, that has helped us alot in getting settled 7 everything. We went to a restaurant out in the country, really nice. They paid. Then they decided to got for a walk. I thought cool a 1/2hr walk sure why not. NOP! this turned into a 2 hr walk, with our churh clothesd & shoes. My feet were hurting. OUCH!!! Then after that LOVELY walk we went over their house for cake & coffee. WOW, what a day. Then back to church after the cake & coffee. We had a concert with Peter robertson, this guy from Australia.

I'll have to write another blog about Monday....etc. cuz my kiddos just woke up from their nap & this will turn into a book. YIKES!!!

Encouraging Scriptures

OK. so I blog at 3 different blogs. Well not really but I do have 3 accts as you all know. SpyMac, MySpace & here. Now I'm mostly blogging here & posting comments on SpyMac, but found lots of friends on myspace. So that has been excited to find old friends there. We mainly just send mssges & emails so that has been really cool.

So I was checking out a blog from a young firend of mine & this is what she had on her blog. I only ckd it out b/c I get a mssge when she posts something. When I read it it was totally refreshing. I needed to hear that. It was nothing but a scripture. So I decided to share it as well.

Isaiah 43:1-4 the message

'Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you.
I've called your name. You're Mine.

When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you.
When you're in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you're between a rock and a hard place,
it won't be a dead end—

Because I am God, your personal God,
The Holy of Israel, your Savior.

I paid a huge price for you...That's how much you mean to Me!
That's how much I love you!
I'd sell off the whole world to get you back,
trade the creation just for you.' "

Isaiah 43:1-4, The Message

I hope this is as refreshing to you as it was for me. Toodles

I'm bored..right now.

Now, I do ahve stuff I could blog about but i need to download the pic's & I don't know how to do that & to top it off, I don't know how to get it into my blog. Yip, Steve does it all that for me. It really bugs me that I have to depend on him to do it. Someetimes I even have to wait till he gets home. What's up with that. Get on the ball girl! I guess I better start writing these llittle steps down right. hehe. Otherwise I may never learn how to. Then I'll be al geriatric about it. Is that how u write geriatric? hmm. I guess I better look that up in the dictionary. Pathetic. I can't even spell. What am I, 80?! jeje.

Well I finally got my kitchen cleaned. Yes, that's right. It's been dirty for a couple of hrs. Hmmm...maybe 5 hrs? Man that's a long time. But I did not feel like cleaning it. WHAT you've never left your "K" unclean for a couple of hrs? don't look at me like I just fell out of a chair. hehehe! Well, you see...thing is..I just did not FEEL like it. Well that's b/c I finally put the kids down, well, I gave both a bath, fed them dinner before their baths, went for a walk before dinner, waited for them to get up from their naps before we went for a walk. Does this make any sense. Oh yeah, but wait, then the "Creamer Memory" lady came over @ 1. Basically to chat & to see my work. You see she does this as an outreach for unsaved people. Although I have to say she is not so behind the times, maybe a little, ok alot, but she is familiar w/alot of the stuff that is out there mainly b/c of websites. But they are behind b/c there is not SCRAPBOOKING stuff here. Just to tell you I have not been able to find a SEWING KIT or RIBBON, that's right. I did however found photo splits. A bit different but they are acid free.

I found a store where they sell Sewing Machines. I haven't been in there yet. Maybe I'l find some stuff there. GOD HELP ME!! hehe. Well it will be nice to find buttons too. Maybe I'll ask my "NOBODY" to spare me some. Remember when you offered us some of the ones you got for x-mas I believe? Well if not, I'll just have to wait till I go to the States & do my shopping. Well I better go now. My stomach is gargling, seems like fire monkeys? haha. Ok got to run, literally.

A Blog About Nothing

I've been racking my brain since yesterday trying to decide what to blog about and....nothing...absoluteley nothing comes to mind...hmmm..still nothing..

How about shoes.....hmmm nah..how about my baby (Audrey) has the chicken pox & an infection w/ a bad cough & cold that has been making her throw up. :x Yess. poor baby, she almost had to go to the emergency room if Steve would'nt of taken her to the Doc yesterday. So they gave her a decongestions, antibiotic & a suppository for all that junk. (2 day suppository) Thank God! whew. She is still having a hard time napping bc her chest hurts & can't breathe. But I can tell she is getting better bc she did not throw up yesterday & she is not coughing like all of her insides are coming out. Still very clingy but this too shall pass.

I did not know she had the Chicken Pox until this morning. Fisrt I thought they were mosquito bites, but this morning there was more spots on her little face, ears, hands & arms. I guess I better find out what she needs for this. Better than she gets them now than later..maybe Andre can get them too & then It will really be over ;)

Well I better go see what's p w/ Audrey she's crying up a storm :o

Dinner with New China

When we moved into this apartment, we noticed that the previous renters (friends of ours) had left behind a really nice set of china. We think it may actually be worth something
So, instead of selling it on ebay right away, we decided to use it last night for a nice family supper.
We bought some fresh bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, pickles (which Dre loves), spreads, fresh butter and made a salad and some fruit tea. So here are some pictures of our set table.
