Thrifty, thrifty, thrifty

That's right. I havne't posted any thrifty items because I haven't found any. But this week I went on Monday &..."BEHOLD"....I found something. Get ready to fall out of your chair friends. Okay I also went to the IKEA in Salzburg today. I'll explain, where I found the rest of my thrifty thrifty buyings.

Ok this beautiful brown picture frame 20x20 I got it for: 3.95. (I looked for a second one in both stores but couldn't find one :(
Tody's purchases were a total of: 8.79Euros equivalent to $8.79 plus 30% if you pay in $$$'s which we didn't. hehe:

Plastic Silverware tray: .30 cents
Kitchen towel holder: 1.99
Decorative Spheres: 2 for 1Euro so ofcourse I got 6, total of 3 Euros, YEAH baby!!!
Alarm decorative clock: 3.50

I tried to take a picture of the receipt but it was to white. Oh well. So here you have it!

You are such a great shopper. It's like an adreneline rush whenever I find great buys. Like a drug addict or something.

- Diva - there's no IKEA in Denver? What's up with that???

We found an amazing clothes sale in a store the other day - bought tons of new stuff, had trouble carrying it, for around £40 all together. The kids have been wearing new stuff non-stop and have still not run out. The washing pile is getting BAD, though...

Just caught the alarm clock again. We used to have one like that except it was brass coloured. I hated being woken up by it. One day it broke. To this day my wife is convinced that I killed it. I did not, but everytime I try to deny it I crack a huge grin and she thinks I am lying!

Hey...on key boards in Europe, where is the L thing? It isn't on my keyboard, is it?

L thing?

Domestic Diva said...

Rock chef...."L40 all together"

What is the "L"?

Rock Chef said...

Ah, got you!

It was the symbol for Pounds Sterling! Your PC probably does not recognise it.

That's right Rock Chef! Guru, our Pc's in America don't have it.

Rock Chef, I think you killed it..hehe!

Thanks for that - in the future I will write it in words instead of symbols that show up wrong!

no, it showed up fine, an L with a squiggle....just didn't know what it meant...
